You know those people that just make you feel good? April Beagle is one of them!

April is a Photographer in Pensacola, FL. She recently asked me to capture some head shots for her website, and I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. While we have been Facebook friends for what seems like forever, we have actually never met in person until the day of her photo session.

“What if she doesn’t like me?” “What if I don’t perform to her expectations?” These were the thoughts going through my mind as I drove to our shoot.

As I walked into the local coffee shop we agreed to meet at, she caught my attention. She was making her way from the back of the room to greet me where I was standing, and she was absolutely breath taking. She smiled the most beautiful smile and hugged me as she introduced herself. She had a very charming way about her and spoke with ease. Immediately all of my insecurities about the photo shoot vanished and I knew that we were going to have an amazing session.

And an amazing session is what we had!

We started at Fosko Coffee Barre and concluded our shoot at The Barkley House. April was just as poised in front of my lens as she was in person. She had a natural ability to pose, and literally owned everything that I asked her to do. (Like a boss!) After our photo session, April told me how much she admires my work and that my photos are an inspiration to her. Actually, she talked me up so much that I started to get emotional! Don’t worry, I kept it together, but I could have lost it with how special she made me feel…

April, I had such an amazing time meeting and photographing you. Let’s do a session every time I come to Florida!

By the way, if I am ever having a bad day, I know who to call! ;)

Check out the images from April’s session below. I hope you guys can see just how much she shines!

I asked April to bring her laptop and camera prior to the shoot so that we could capture the little details of who she is.
Told you she owned it!
